I started Benfield Photography as a way to pay for college. After earning my Master's Degree and teaching college photography, I decided to transition into a full-time photographer. Since then, I've photographed more than 500 weddings all over the country and abroad. I've also published two books on photography and business.
Benfield Photography photographs weddings in Arkansas, California, and worldwide. I've photographed weddings in Rome, proposals in Paris, weddings in New York City, Dallas, Memphis, Austin, Los Angeles, Napa Valley, San Diego, Aspen, and elsewhere.
I have two darling daughters that are unique and wonderful in their own ways. Ellie loves to dance, take and edit photos, and is on her way to becoming quite the foodie. Ellie is kind. Cece is hilarious, loves to sing, and organizes anything you place in front of her. Cece is feisty.
Packing a camera bag and hopping on a plane fills me with such joy. I'm incredibly grateful for all the couples who have loved my wedding photography enough to bring me to new places (Aspen, Alaska, Napa, Rome, Paris, NOLA, Los Angeles, and Mexico are some of my recent trips!)
Of all the foods I've tasted in my life, I have one weakness: Pizza. Thick, thin, red sauce, white sauce, double cheese, veggie... I don't care. Whatever it is, as long as it answers to pizza, I'll eat it. Especially if it means sharing a slice with this girl. (hi Bonnie!)
It's bad. A late bloomer to the coffee community, I feel like I need to catch up on my consumption. That's why I drink twice as much coffee as a normal person. Hazelnut lattes or a strong cappucino both have me doing a happy dance.
