It’s no secret that Fall is my favorite time for photography. The color of fall leaves in photos adds such a beautiful dimension to an already beautiful wedding, and Lauren’s wedding at a Barn in Joplin, MO, was the first of the fall season and I couldn’t wait to incorporate the beautiful yellows and oranges into her portraits.
Her rustic barn wedding had elegant details and string lighting draped across the ceiling, adding a lovely element of charm to the reception. The lighting, as always, set the mood for the wedding and reception.
When Lauren walked down the aisle to Brett, the groom teared up – I love it when that happens – even though they already had a first look! There is just something about that moment when a bride walks down the aisle that just feels EXTRA and SURREAL. It’s no wonder our groom shed a few tears as she walked nearer.
The leaves were starting to turn in the trees surrounding the ceremony, so I had to incorporate the color into the wedding ceremony images!
And also some of the wedding portraits!
Wasn’t that such a touching and beautiful fall wedding? It was a great way to kick off the fall season for me, and I’m so happy for Lauren and Brett who deserved this charming and romantic wedding!
