It was great to be back in the windy city for this Chicago Athletic Association Wedding for Emma and Jarred. The couple curated impeccable details at the historic hotel ceremony and reception. The black-tie-optional event perfectly showcased all the unique sentiments that Emma worked so hard to plan.

Emma chose a timeless color palette, classic centerpieces, and of course a jaw-dropping ballroom to host her event. As soon as I walked into the space, I felt completely inspired by the details and history that surrounded me. The staff at the Chicago Athletic Association blew us away as well (Us= me and Tyler), as they went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. 10/10 recommend!

While I’ve photographed Chicago weddings previously, this Chicago Athletic Association Wedding marks my first at this incredible venue. It sits on Michigan Avenue and directly faces Millenium Park. We even had the opportunity to photograph portraits on the rooftop (come back soon for those)!
