Best DFW Wedding Vendors

I got to work alongside the Best DFW Wedding Vendors for Caroline and Daniel’s wedding Saturday. The entire day came together flawlessly (at least from my perspective). When I say that, which is rare, it means the wedding planner is on top of things. If you have a great wedding planner, either one of two things happen: 1) nothing goes wrong, or 2) something goes wrong but it is fixed without drama or self-promotion. Aka: nobody knows that anything wrong ever happened. Whichever the case may be, the team at Hunter Orcutt should be celebrated.

I found myself feeling so happy for Caroline multiple times throughout the day on Saturday. I have known her since she was 17 years old and she has always been the kindest, most thoughtful young lady. To see her in love, happy, and experiencing a truly extraordinary wedding melted my heart. After taking photos of Caroline with each of her family members, I passed off my camera to take my own with the stunning bride.

After posing with the bride, it was back to work for this wedding photographer. I photographed all the stunning details resulting from the best DFW Wedding Vendors’ work. However, I also took a moment to photograph some of those wedding vendors in action. Below are some of the team from Three Branches Floral Dallas sprucing up the details for the outside reception at The Hillside Estate in Cross Roads, TX.

Huge Props to Hunter Orcutt and her team…

Oh, speaking of Hunter Orcutt, here she is posing with the bride and groom outside near the 360 degree bar they couple had for the cocktail hour and outdoor reception at The Hillside Estate. Hunter and her team were FABULOUS. I mean that. It takes a lot to impress me; well actually, it takes very little for me to be picky… and I have nothing but positive things to say about Hunter Orcutt. 5 Stars… highly recommend!

There is often discussion over whether a bride should hire a DJ or a Band for her wedding. I know great DJs who get the crowd going, but my preference is usually for band. The Jordan Kahn Music Company got the crowd on the dancefloor from the very first moments of the reception. Not only that, but they kept everyone dancing the entire night! They were super entertaining, and the horn section was great. They even came out into the crowd to play and interact with the wedding guests. The song choice was super relevant and the guests had the best time. One of my favorite moments was when the trombone player used his trombone as a limbo stick.

An often overlooked wedding vendor…

One of my favorite vendors of the night was the bartender from Mama’s Medicine. He was very personable with the guests, and even made me one of the best mocktails (Tyler and I aren’t drinking in 2022). I was very impressed.

Can we take a moment and just admire this cake? I love how narrow it is at the base, and how tall the cake is. It’s a statement cake! The cake had soft ruffles designed after the brides Monique Lhuillier wedding dress.

The custom designed dance floor was a nice touch to bring the designed elements of the wedding reception together.

And now, ladies and gentleman… the most impressive ballroom chandelier I’ve seen in all my days as a wedding photographer. This impressive wedding venue, The Hillside Estate, cut no corners in creating one of the most luxurious wedding venues in DFW.

I’ve already gushed on this blush wedding dress by Monique Lhuillier. I thought the symmetry in the grand entrance of The Hillside Estate was a perfect spot deserving of this designer wedding dress.

Finally, I want to show this wedding ceremony venue all set up by the Three Branches and Hunter Orcutt teams. They are truly some of the best DFW Wedding Vendors and it was an honor to work alongside them.

Hillside Estate Wedding Chapel is all white with tons of natural light and acrylic "ghost" chairs.

It was my first time working with many of these DFW Wedding Vendors, but I hope it is not my last. It was a beautiful day from start to finish and I am honored to be a DFW Wedding Photographer for Caroline and Daniel.
