Yesterday’s blogpost was just a wedding tease, but today I get to share this Wedding at The Amalie in Joplin with you. Sarah and Josh chose one of the best wedding venues in Joplin for their wedding: The Amalie. The space is centrally located, lots of amenities, and is a really nice blank canvas to transform into the Joplin wedding of your dreams.

I arrived to the Joplin wedding venue a little early (as I normally do if I can) to capture the wedding details at Amalie and Roxy (more on the wedding reception at the Roxy hitting the blog tomorrow). I love the vibe in the wedding details below.

Easily my favorite moment of this wedding was this first look. Sarah was emotional and couldn’t hold back the tears as she saw her groom standing there waiting for her. It was a really special moment I was honored to capture.

Next up, we had ourselves a wedding ceremony. The ceremony was short and sweet, but filled with laughs and kisses. Those are my favorite kind of wedding ceremonies. I have to give a quick shoutout to Crystal with Athena Events in Joplin for 1) being awesome to work with and 2) doing awesome work.
