I didn't pick up a camera until high school. My dad was a photographer and owned a photo lab. He gave me my first photography job, and my first camera. He taught me how to print pictures in the dark room, and how to set a camera manually, and that your customers were the most important part of a business. Over the past 20 years, I've used what he taught me to provide a life for my wife and three daughters.  Even after 500 or so weddings I've photographed, I'm still OBSESSED with capturing love and wake up excited every morning to get to do this for a living.

about me

The newest little love of my life, Scout, was born January 10, 2020. She's honestly the happiest baby I've ever been around. For a kid who was born during flu season, and then a pandemic (aka she hasn't really ever left the house), you'd think she would be sick of me and my dad jokes, but she is my best little buddy and I spend a lot of my day doing whatever it takes to get her to flash my her gummy little grin.

Cece is 7 years old and the wild child of the bunch. She has us laughing constantly with her goofy antics and silly personality.
Having Autism, Cece has both tremendous gifts and challenges she is navigating. Being mostly non-verbal until two years ago, we learned to love through actions. Now that Cece can communicate, she opens our eyes, or minds, and our hearts daily to what's going on in her beautiful mind.

My 16-year-old daughter, Ellie, is my responsible one. She has the biggest heart, is patient, and kind.
She's a high schooler and drives a Jeep (which still doesn't feel real). Ellie loves to dance ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, ballroom, etc and is on the high school pom (dance) team.
She's the best daughter and big sister anyone could ever ask for.

Dale met Tyler when he was photographing her sister's wedding. She was the cute maid of honor, and he was the photographer trying not to make every picture about her.  A friendship started and (playing the long game), we started dating 8 years later! Look at us now! Parents and stuff!
Tyler is a 2nd shooter for BP, and during the week she is a healthcare attorney for Walmart.

She also has a blog:

I also have a fun side business I started in 2019 creating mobile lightroom presets. I've been able to team up with some incredible influencers to spread the preset love all over the world. We have more than 30 thousand customers and have sold to just about every state in the US!

I also serve at SOCO Church, play saxophone (with Boom! Kinetic), cook (vegan), and write jingles on the piano for my kids to sing and dance to.
