Tips: give yourself plenty of time to plan! Don't get too many opinions from others. Everyone has a different opinion (esp family) and it can get overwhelming. Do what you want to do, after all it's your day! :)
About my dress...I got my dress at Lowe's bridal in Brinkley. Great selection and very helpful staff. Pinterest is great for getting ideas! Pick something you're comfortable in. Don't get me wrong, wear something amazing!! But make sure you can move and sit down in it. And accessorize that baby. Your day is all about the bling so go big with the jewels!!
Choosing my location...I chose a destination wedding. I wanted an easy getaway, so Excellence Playa Mujeres was an easy choice. The amazing part is that it happened to be a place Dale has photographed before! That sealed the deal. I knew Dale would know the best spots for those amazing pics. And I was right!!!
Favorite moment: my special part of the wedding was my father-on-law walking me down the aisle. My father wasn't able to attend, and I am so lucky to have found a second dad in my father-in-law. He's a big Elvis fan and performer, so I surprised him with an Elvis song as we walked down the isle. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking back on that moment....so special.
My best memory: having all my friends surround me for several days since we did a destination wedding. We had a blast! And dancing the night away with my new hubby and friends!!!
