Top Wedding Venues in NWA: Osage Chapel at Osage House
In our Top Wedding Venues in NWA series, today I’m featuring the Osage House in Cave Springs! This is one of my very favorite venues that has joined the NWA wedding scene in recent years, and it has really taken off! Ashley, the owner of Osage House met with me (and some other local wedding pros) prior to groundbreaking to get feedback on “the perfect wedding venue.” I think they nailed it! Every photo I take at Osage House makes me do a happy dance!
First up, we have the Osage Chapel at Osage House. The all-white chapel creates a modern and serene ambiance.
It’s clear why Osage House is one of the Top Wedding Venues in NWA. Just look at this stunning all-white wedding chapel right in the heart of Northwest Arkansas.
No matter which way you shoot, you’re surrounded by beautiful soft light. As a wedding photographer, I have experience in shooting scenes with backlight, caused by the windows or doors behind the subject, as you’ll see below. I’m able to accentuate the beauty of the all-white chapel with gorgeous natural light, as you can see in the photos below.
And the outside of the Osage Chapel is equally stunning.
Just another reason why Osage House is one of the Top Wedding Venues in NWA.
This shot below shows how the inside of Osage Chapel creates the most gorgeous, soft light for portraits.
And finally, the gold accents on the doors give an interesting backdrop (and a way to use framing and leading lines in composition).
Top Wedding Venues in NWA: Osage Reception Hall
Next up, we have the Osage Reception Hall. This venue makes me want to renew my vows. The high ceilings in this all-white reception venue shows how grand a wedding reception can be.
You have the flexibility of dressing it up, or keeping it minimal for a modern and fresh reception look.
But what does it look like outside? Well, I’m glad you asked. This shot was taken mere steps from the entrance to the reception venue at sunset. Wow.
There are also arches for an additional outdoor wedding venue space. Dressed with plants, or draped as seen below… the location is pretty versatile!
Stats from the Osage House Wedding Venue website
I pulled a few stats from the Osage website for you:
“The Osage House name encompasses two separate venues, operating on 54 acres, centrally located in Cave Springs, AR: The Reserve at Osage House, and the Osage Chapel and Reception Hall. The Reserve is an industrial modern space, and can seat up to 299 indoors, and extra outdoor space in the covered breezeway, and lawn. The Osage Chapel is a one of a kind design, nestled in the trees. With an all glass wall at the back, and glass doors along both sides, it gives you an outdoor feel, while still having the comforts of being indoors. The Osage Reception Hall can seat up to 428 for dinner seating, and has a timeless style with a touch of modern aesthetic.”
