A year and a half ago, I purchased tickets to the Killers (my all-time favorite band). Funny story, I thought they were for the upcoming October 7th at Wolstein Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Because I spend so much time in Cleveland photographing, I snagged two tickets. Well, the night of the show came and I was ONE YEAR EARLY. I can’t make this stuff up.
The ACTUAL October 7th was yesterday and I finally got to see Brandon Flowers and Co. take the stage. It was everything I hoped it would be. I love seeing live music, and being where other people are. It makes me feel like I’m part of that community, if just for one night.
In a Nutshell
The rest of the week I was traveling across Cleveland suburbs photographing until the sun went down. I think all in all, I worked around 85 hours, which is maybe a personal record. Not that I’m proud of that or anything (I’m actually trying to have a well-balanced work and home life. But, it explains why I have 463 unanswered texts on my phone. Including unanswered texts from my mom (Hi mom, sorry! <<My mom subscribes to my blog).
Also, can we take a second for this shot of my sexy wife? Goodness.
Hocus Pocus!
Earlier this week, Tyler and I were missing each other so we decided to do a facetime date night. Yeah, we’re cute… I know. 😉 Because Hocus Pocus 2 is out and I haven’t seen the original, we synced up the classic flick and watched it together. Idk if you’ve ever done that, but it’s almost as good as the real thing. 10/10 would recommend.
This Week in Numbers
I have one portrait session left for tomorrow morning, then I fly home to see my girls! I’m so excited!
Talk to you soon,
Dale
