When I showed up to shoot NWA Fall Family Photos of the Hurlbut gang, they were a little bit in panic mode. We chose the EXACT weekend to shoot as we did last year, but the fall leaves were NOT the same. Last year we had this insanely huge tree with the most vibrant of leaves falling to the ground. We posed in front of it, we played with the leaves, etc. So imagine the shock when all those leaves had turned brown and fallen by picture day.
No worries though! I’m well-versed in lighting and color. And I’m highly adaptable and have a knack for finding great photo spots in places most others overlook. That’s exactly what happened on the morning we were to take these NWA Fall Family Photos. Take a peek at the spot I found.
We shot these NWA Fall Family Photos during morning golden hour. Did you know there is a morning golden hour for portraits? Just like our favorite sunset golden hour times, the morning golden hour is the time just AFTER the sun rises. Shadows are long, and the light is warm and soft.
Here is a great way to end this beautiful session. This family signed up for my subscription-based family sessions (the only family sessions I now offer), so get used to these beautiful faces!
Stay tuned for more NWA Fall Family Photos of some of my favorite Northwest Arkansas families coming up!
Talk to you soon,
Dale
