I love getting nickeled and dimed. Said no one, ever. For years, I’ve tried to figure out the best way to serve my brides and grooms. No matter which way arranged my wedding packages, it always felt wrong… like I was nickel and diming them for all the add-ons they wanted. After all this time, I’ve finally figured it out: Give them everything they want and need for a single price.
That means we no longer have to cram in 9 hours of beautiful wedding moments into the 5 hours you could afford to have a photographer. Now, I’m there all day! It also means that you don’t have to ask your cousin with a nice camera to take your engagement photos because the session put you over your wedding photography budget. And you don’t have to fight with your mom… who REALLY WANTED a bridal portrait but you wanted a wedding album. Now you get it all. It’s a win-win… win!
If you have any questions for me, send me an email. I’m happy to help however I can. Wedding photography is an important decision, and I don’t want you to make the wrong one!
Let’s break down our wedding package, shall we?
engagements
Engagement Photos: It’s no secret that engagement photographs are my (Dale’s) favorite to shoot. It’s all the love without the time constraints of a wedding day. Therefore, I don’t put a time limit on these, and you get to wear multiple outfits. That way, you can grab that formal shot for the engagement announcement, but also wear clothes that are more “you” for social media posts, guestbook albums, and to hang on your walls.
The other bonus of having us photograph your engagements is that by your wedding day, we’re old friends! We know how each other works, which really helps the wedding photography go that much better.
bridal portrait session
Here in the south, bridal portraits are such an important part of the overall experience. Mom and Grandmothers usually insist on a bridal session, and I tend to agree. The wedding day is never conducive to fitting in a bridal shoot, so we schedule these for 4-6 weeks before the wedding date.
Also, this allows us to have a gorgeous canvas or print made from your portrait session to display at your wedding reception. Oh yeah… that’s included too. And by chance, you aren’t interested in a bridal session, Tyler will exchange this for a boudoir session. (click this link for the best bridal portraits of 2022)
wedding album
Another reason wedding packages suck is that they typically don’t include wedding albums. There was a period of a few years when couples stopped ordering wedding albums from their big day. I understand that some of that was budget, but we just got so used to viewing images on our phones that we neglected to print our memories.
Now that I have more than 20k photos on my phone, it’s more important than ever to have a real, tangible photography album from our wedding. In fact, it’s my 3-year-old daughter’s favorite book (the “mommy daddy book”).
I believe in every couple getting an album so much that I include them for no extra cost. I WANT you to have a family heirloom from your wedding day!
all-day wedding coverage
I already discussed the pain of cramming events into a certain number of hours, but let me reiterate: it’s so much nicer having 9 hours of coverage than having 6. I want to photograph your grand exit, and Tyler loves that moment when a mother helps a bride into her gown.
It’s ALL part of your story.
