If I could share two words to describe Will and Claire’s wedding: Sentimental and Stylish. Will and Claire had their first “I love you” at Harmony Gardens in Jonesboro, Arkansas. So, when they were looking for the perfect spot for a wedding reception, there was no better choice. Their first look was on the bridge in front, reminiscent of that magical location in their story. A couple with true style, they gave attention to their gorgeous wedding details.

We spent time photographing the couple around Harmony Gardens in gorgeous lighting. Claire was all smiles – it was truly a happy and magical day for the couple.

Typically during a catholic ceremony, I place myself in an area where I can see everything… like a birdseye view, because photographers usually are not permitted to walk around to capture different angles. By placing myself here, I can use different lenses to get a variety of images from my stationary location. Also, I love an unhindered view of the action, which this gives me.

After the ceremony, Will and Claire treated their guests to an incredible reception at Harmony Gardens in Jonesboro.

Of course, I had to pull them out during golden hour for some signature Benny Backlight wedding portraits.
