Buckle up, because these engagement pictures at Stan Hywet are going to take you for a ride! My jaw LITERALLY DROPPED as I pulled into Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens for Rob and David’s engagement portraits. Rob told me how special the place was to him and David (it’s where they got engaged). And he mentioned how breathtaking it was. You would think, then, that I would have been prepared.

I was not. I mean, how could you be prepared for something like this?

Rob booked us a 90 minute session for his engagement pictures at Stan Hywet. That was plenty of time to stroll through the impeccable landscaping while we found ideal photo spots. I love not feeling rushed (very UNLIKE a wedding day), and just getting to be creative with my couple. Rob and David were great: they were excited, looked 100%, and even brought some of their own ideas to the session.

Speaking of bringing things to the session, they also brought their fur-babies! Best dressed pups ever.

Years ago, I met Rob through Arrow Senior Living. Over the past few years we have become very close friends. I’m thankful for his friendship and I’m so happy for him and David (who by the way is freaking hilarious and had me cracking up all shoot). Sometimes the right people come into your life at the right time where it just fits perfectly.

Can we have a standing ovation for these fall colors? OMG. And well done to Rob and David who picked the perfect outfits to complement the rich vibrant leaves.

Needless to say, I can’t wait for this luxe wedding. It’s going to be so fabulous!
