When you think Crystal Bridges wedding details, what comes to mind? To me, it’s the ginormous golden heart hanging in Eleven Restaurant. It’s the perfect statement piece for a wedding reception. Pair that with gorgeous all-white florals from our friends at Darling Blooms, and you have yourself a show-stopper.

I also hope to see a champagne tower. More and more couples are moving toward events like a champagne tower pour over the traditional cake cutting and bouquet toss. There is no right or wrong answer; your wedding can be literally anything you want it to be. I love how shallow the depth of field is in the below image. I causes the lights above to look more like a string of holiday lights, and you can still make out the heart.

From Darling Blooms to Brittany Bloom… (events, that is), this wedding and reception had some fantastic (and FUN) vendors. When it comes to wedding vendors, personality goes a long way. I would definitely prefer spending the day with vendors who make me laugh on top of all that talent!

Okay… but can we have a moment for this dress? Goodness. It was literally the perfect dress for Allie. For the brides out there planning their dress hunt, she found this dress at Bride KC (in Kansas City). You can see them here.

Old, new, borrowed, blue… Allie had some really great details, which were so fun to photograph! I’ve always been big on capturing these details. I just know the couple will look back on their wedding images years later, and be transported back because of details like these.

Tomorrow I’m going to share all the storytelling moments that made Allie and Paul’s Crystal Bridges wedding so special. You won’t want to miss it!
