Hotel Vin Rogers Wedding Inspiration | A First Look at Northwest Arkansas’ Newest Wedding Venue

Bride and groom beneath dramatic white ceremony draping and florals at Hotel Vin Rogers in Rogers, Arkansas.

There are wedding venues you photograph, and then there are venues that immediately start giving you ideas.

Hotel Vin Rogers is definitely the latter.

I recently had the chance to photograph an incredible wedding collaboration at the new Hotel Vin in Rogers, AR, with Kimmy from JLK Weddings leading the planning and design. And when I say she went for it, I mean she really went for it.

Dramatic draping. Mountains of flowers. A six-foot-tall cake. A hidden speakeasy. Rooftop sunset portraits. Vintage swimsuits. Champagne in bed.

You know. The essentials.

Kimmy and her real-life husband, Noah, stepped in front of my camera as our bride and groom for the day, which made the whole thing even more fun. Instead of simply photographing beautiful details, we were able to tell a complete wedding-day story and explore just how many completely different looks couples can create at Hotel Vin Rogers.

And there are a LOT.

An Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Hotel Vin Rogers

We started outside in one of the hotel’s ceremony spaces, where Kimmy created one of my favorite setups from the entire shoot.

A massive installation of drapery transformed the outdoor space into something that felt romantic, editorial and completely unexpected. The scale was incredible. Rather than competing with the architecture of Hotel Vin, the fabric softened everything and gave us this beautiful movement whenever the wind caught it.

With Kimmy and Noah standing in front of it, it felt less like we were in the middle of Rogers, Arkansas and more like we had wandered onto the set of a fashion editorial somewhere.

That’s something I think couples are going to love about weddings at Hotel Vin Rogers: there are opportunities to create something that feels completely your own.

You don’t have to fight the venue.

You get to play with it.

When Your Wedding Cake Is Five Feet Tall…

From the ceremony, we moved into another floral-filled setup with an incredible table surrounded by blooms from Tipton & Hurst.

And then there was the cake.

A FIVE-FOOT-TALL wedding cake.

Because apparently a normal-sized wedding cake wasn’t going to cut it for this crew.

Neither, technically, could Kimmy.

She had to climb onto a chair to reach high enough to actually cut the thing, which naturally became one of my favorite photographs of the day. It’s glamorous and ridiculous in exactly the right proportions.

This entire setup showed what talented Northwest Arkansas wedding vendors can do when they’re given the freedom to create. Kimmy’s vision through JLK Weddings tied together the florals, linens, rentals, paper pieces, draping and all those little details that make a wedding feel less like a collection of pretty things and more like one cohesive experience.

And then we switched up the vibe a little bit for some outdoor direct-flash reception style shots.

Getting Ready in the Hotel Vin Speakeasy

Then we changed the mood completely.

Noah headed into Magnum, the speakeasy inside Hotel Vin Rogers, for some groom portraits.

Dark. Moody. Sophisticated.

Basically the photographic opposite of the light-filled outdoor ceremony—and I loved that.

For couples planning a Hotel Vin Rogers wedding, this is one of the things that excites me most about the property. You don’t have to leave the hotel to get variety in your wedding photographs.

Your wedding gallery can move from romantic outdoor portraits to dark, cinematic groom photos within the same property.

And as a wedding photographer, that makes me very happy.

The speakeasy was especially perfect with Noah’s suit from Walker Brothers. It had that slightly old-school, tailored feel that looked completely at home in the space.

Wedding Photos at the Hotel Vin Lobby Bar

Next we headed to the lobby bar for another completely different look.

One thing you’ll notice throughout Hotel Vin Rogers is how many spaces feel intentionally designed rather than simply functional. That’s a big deal when you’re choosing a wedding venue.

Your wedding doesn’t only happen at the ceremony altar and reception tables.

It happens while you’re walking through the lobby.

It happens when someone grabs a drink.

It happens in elevators, hallways, hotel rooms and all the little spaces in between.

Those places become part of the story too.

And yes, at some point I absolutely put Kimmy and Noah in an elevator and photographed them kissing as the doors closed.

Because how could I not?

Rooftop Wedding Portraits during Golden Hour

From there, we made our way up to the rooftop around sunset for golden hour portraits.

I intentionally photographed away from the bar for some of these portraits because I wanted the scenery to do the work. With the light dropping behind Northwest Arkansas, we could make images that felt expansive and romantic while still being just steps away from everything happening inside Hotel Vin.

For couples who want a more elevated, modern feel for their Northwest Arkansas wedding photography, the rooftop gives us another option without having to build extra travel time into the wedding day.

That means more time actually enjoying your wedding.

And fewer people standing around asking, “Are we leaving yet?”

Always a win.

And Then the Bride Put on a Swimsuit

This might be the point where the shoot officially became my kind of day.

Kimmy changed out of the wedding dress and into an amazing vintage-inspired swimsuit, and we headed to the Hotel Vin pool.

The black-and-white striped umbrellas, poolside cabanas and vintage styling gave this entire section of the shoot its own personality.

It felt playful.

A little cheeky.

And totally different from the traditional wedding photographs we’d made earlier.

One of my favorite images is Noah, still dressed in his suit, walking toward Kimmy poolside carrying a plate of charcuterie.

Which, now that I think about it, might actually be the foundation of a successful marriage.

Ending the Night in a Hotel Room

We saved some of my favorite photographs for last.

Kimmy changed back into her wedding dress. Noah ditched the suit jacket, untucked his shirt and suddenly everything felt like the wedding had actually happened and these two had finally escaped upstairs at the end of the night.

That’s exactly what I wanted.

No perfect posture.

No formal portraits.

Just that we’re married, the party is over and we have nowhere else we’re supposed to be feeling.

We photographed them jumping on the bed.

Running excitedly through the hotel hallway carrying a bottle of champagne.

And finally, drinking champagne together in bed.

These are the kinds of images I love because they give a wedding story an ending.

The ceremony photographs are beautiful. The flowers are beautiful. The clothes are beautiful.

But at some point, I want things to get a little messy.

I want your shirt untucked.

I want shoes kicked off somewhere.

I want champagne.

I want the photographs that feel like the moment after you’ve stopped performing for everyone else and realized:

Holy crap. We just got married.

Hotel Vin Rogers Weddings

After spending the day photographing throughout the property, I can already see why Hotel Vin Rogers weddings are going to be exciting.

You have outdoor ceremony possibilities, beautiful interiors, sophisticated bars, a hidden speakeasy, rooftop views, a resort-style pool and hotel rooms all in one location.

More importantly, though, Hotel Vin gives creative wedding professionals room to actually create.

And this shoot was the perfect example.

Kimmy and the entire vendor team didn’t just decorate a space. They showed how completely different a wedding at Hotel Vin Rogers could look from one part of the day to another.

Romantic.

Editorial.

Moody.

Playful.

Luxurious.

And at the end of the night, just a little bit wild.

Exactly how I like it.

And I have to give a special shoutout to Rebecca at Hotel Vin, who is absolutely incredible. Collaborations like this require a huge amount of coordination behind the scenes, and she helped make it possible for all of us to explore the property and create something special.

If you’re planning a Hotel Vin Rogers wedding, a wedding in Rogers or Bentonville, or you’re searching for a wedding venue in Northwest Arkansas that gives you a lot of visual variety without sending your entire wedding party all over town, this property should absolutely be on your radar.

I can’t wait to photograph an actual wedding here.

Preferably one involving champagne.

And maybe another six-foot cake.
