This year’s nominees for Best Wedding Portraits of 2022 were taken all over the country. Of my 14 weddings (2 more than I planned to shoot because I photographed 2 for my buddy JP Elario), only 2 were taken at the same wedding venue. In fact, these weddings took place in 7 different states, from Chicago, Illinois, to upstate NY to Dallas, TX, to Louisiana, to Nashville, TN, to AR and MO. As a luxury wedding photographer, I offer wedding coverage anywhere an airplane will take me. Typical from previous years, 50% of my weddings were local (NWA or Joplin), and the other 50% were spread across the country. I like it that way! It’s a great balance of getting to travel and see the world, photographing weddings in Northwest Arkansas.
