Hey everybody!
Can I tell you how much I love the Waldrip sisters? After shooting Allison’s wedding last year and getting to know this amazing family, Mere and I just fell in LOVE with the twins (Lauren and Katie). They’re all so sweet, and are gorrrrrgeous! When Katie asked us to photograph her wedding, we were over the moon! We also heard that they were again using the Bates team to bring their vision to life, so we knew we were going to have another dream wedding on our hands. No pressure. 🙂 Well, the ceremony at Old Main Lawn was so perfect – the leaves are absolutely to-die-for (if you live in Arkansas, you know this!), and Katie literally picked the PERFECT weekend for prime fall colors.
Here’s the gorgeous bride getting into her gown, with the help of her sisters.
She walked out of Old Main for her first look – Ethan was impressed, and she was overjoyed. Love this moment! And y’all… how about those sleeves?! Southern and classy and fabulous!
These girls! I love all of them… they have such fun personalities! And how about that gold tree to go with these gold dresses… well done, Old Main…. well done.
As silly as they are, these girls are also true and amazing friends. These moments are always my favorite moments.
Katie did get a little emotional as her dad walked her toward Ethan.
Okay, for real? The color here is incredible. I love Fayetteville in the Fall!
Allison sang a gorgeous song as the couple took communion. She’s so talented! (no, really!)
Their first kiss as husband and wife, underneath the breathtaking trees at Old Main at the U of A (where Katie was Homecoming Queen just a couple years ago). How special is this? I want to print a huge one and hang it at MY house!
Katie and Ethan did gold confetti for their leave, which I thought was a great choice. It made for really pretty pictures, and went with her color scheme.
Away they went!
I’ve still got reception, bridals, and portraits to share! We’re just getting started, y’all!
Talk to you soon,
Dale
