Today’s post contains both inspiration and an announcement regarding In-Home Lifestyle Family Portraits. First off, the announcement: I’m currently taking a few spots in March for these In-Home Lifestyle Family Portrait sessions, which you can book here. I come to you, spend some time creating fun and beautiful images based on a fun concept we come up with ahead of time. You can take your own spin on the shoot below and get messy in the kitchen, or a snuggly date night, an activity with the kids. Yes, I welcome the entire family for this type of shoot (or you can send them to the babysitter’s and make it about the parents). Whatever your little heart desires.

Okay, now for the inspiration part. I dreamed up this concept for Benny couple Zach and Sloane Hocker. I loved photographing their wedding at Sassafras Springs Vineyard. This couple cracks me up and always has me feeling joy! So obviously this type of Lifestyle Family Portrait session fits them perfectly! We played around the kitchen leading up to Christmas. The morning light poured into the kitchen, filling it white gorgeous white light. They made cookies, but ended up wearing most of the ingredients. It was so fun and so cute!
