Editing Before and After: Two Looks

I love editing before and after photos. Most photographers don’t love editing. It’s the “drudgery work” that often lacks sexiness. It’s busywork. But not for me! I find it so fascinating that I can change the look and feel and vibe of an image by playing around with the photo’s raw settings.

I’m very curious as to whether it looks good just to me or if it has universal appeal. That’s why I’m enlisting YOUR help to vote on these photos I’ve been editing after seeing before and after examples. I would love for you to slide the bar back and forth on each of the before and after edits below and leave a comment about which one you like, either “color pop” or “color muted” as your fave!

Tyler said the color mutes looks like a fashion magazine edit (and I agree) and then said the other has such a great pop of color. So… she was no help at all. HAHAHAHA!

I have really enjoyed being a nwa model photographer lately, in addition to photographing weddings. It has been a nice addition and creative outlet for me, especially editing before and after photos like this! I hope you are enjoying the posts!
