Hannah and Derek’s Wedding at Kindred North was one of the most laid-back and relaxed weddings I have ever photographed. Surely, that was attributed to 1) great planning and 2) a chill bride and groom. After more than 800 days since their original wedding date (thanks to covid), their wedding was rescheduled and relocated to Kindred North. As a wedding photographer in NWA, I love shooting at Kindred North weddings (it’s so close to my house)!
Hannah Lamp is a hairstylist who owns a hair salon in Bentonville. While I couldn’t take photos at my own wedding, she could do her own wedding hair. And as expected, her hair looked flawless.
This really fun moment almost makes me laugh. I wonder what they were saying!
Ladies and gentlemen, our handsome groom, Derek.
Hannah’s mother helped her get ready, right down to the finishing touches with the bride’s veil.
While Hannah and Derek didn’t have a wedding party, it opened up the possibility of something really cool. Directly following their wedding at Kindred North, the bride and groom took portraits with their wedding guests.
During the reception at Kindred North, the bride and groom performed a beautifully choreographed dance for their first dance. The couple experienced more nerves about their first dance than when saying their vows. But they performed beautifully.
After their first dance, the bride changed into the cutest short dress for the rest of the reception. I absolutely love the short dress wedding trend!
Tomorrow I get to share my favorite portraits at Kindred North. If you don’t subscribe, set yourself a reminder to come to see the pretty (and sexy) wedding photos. Or, better yet… just add your email to the field below and subscribe! Then, you get the blog post in your email instead of having to come to the website! Work smarter not harder, right?
Talk to you soon,
Dale
