Jensen’s final portrait session is her Senior Pictures in a Bookstore. But not just any bookstore. We photographed in the Dickson Street Bookshop. As any bibliophile would agree, the Dickson Street Bookshop is one of Fayetteville’s most beloved gems. It’s for that very reason that we picked this bookstore (instead of bookstores in Tulsa, where we shot the rest of her senior portraits).
I don’t know if Senior Pictures in a Bookstore is a trend, but I’ve been doing more and more in bookstores lately. Of course, you probably remember Ellie’s NYC Bookstore Senior Photo shoot. (if not, click that link and check it out) These two bookstores had really similar vibes. For that reason, I also edited them the same. Most have my vintage toning on them (like the photo above), but they also look really great in black and white (like the two below).
Jensen is such a great model. She can work a variety of poses and looks, all creating different vibes. Plus she is totally sweet and adorable! I love how these came out, don’t you? Big thanks to the team at Dickson Street Bookshop for our great location, and to Jensen who perfectly dressed the part!
If you’re a senior (or a parent of a senior), I’m currently taking senior portrait sessions for MARCH in Northwest Arkansas, and April for destination senior pictures. Click the contact link and send me a message if you are interested.
Talk to you soon,
Dale
