After our last shoot, Alex and I became in need Model Portfolio Shoot. That’s exciting news because what I’m saying is that after our last shoot, Alex was signed by a modeling agency! If you don’t remember our last shoot, I included the link at the bottom of this blog post.
Why We Needed a New Model Portfolio Shoot
The agency that signed Alex asked her to round out her modeling portfolio, so we did a Model Portfolio Shoot that showcased a few different styles and looks. For continuity’s sake on this blog post, I converted them to my signature style of black and white (and actually love how they came out when I converted them).
We shot these model portfolio images in and around downtown Rogers. The area has so many different backdrops that work well in photographs. There are nature backgrounds, lots of urban and industrial backdrops, and even some fun and playful settings. We tried a bit of all for this shoot, and Alex of course knocked it out of the park.
While I’m a luxury wedding photographer, I also enjoy shooting for modeling portfolios. I shoot natural light photographs, but am also a studio light photographer. That means we can create really dramatic modeling looks for more edgy portraits, or we can use natural lighting in photographs for soft flattering lights. I’m inspired by both. If you or someone you know are looking to 1) get into modeling or 2) looking for a portfolio refresh, head to my contact page and send me a message.

Talk to you soon,
