This year’s nominees for Best Wedding Flatlay of 2022 are below. Flatlays are to weddings what the “ring shot” used to be. Now, instead of just the rings, we arrange all the important wedding details all in one shot. From the invitations to the jewelry, then add a nice watch, or florals, or both. And don’t forget the shoes, right? The single shot could tell a lot about a wedding; I typically use the flatlay as one of the first images in a wedding album because it does a great job of setting the scene, and the color story, of a wedding day.
