These B+W Bridal Portraits for Morgan… I’m completely obsessed. The corset top on the wedding dress bodice is so flattering. And the soft semi-transparent loose sleeves on this wedding dress are dreamy. Morgan, who eloped with her new husband, Spencer, hired me to photograph a reveal shoot recently. She completely trusted me to choose the date, time, and location for the reveal session, which I’ll share soon. However, before we got to that, I shot a handful of B+W Bridal Portraits so she could display them at her wedding in February.
These B+W Bridal Portraits are special because of the little family touches. Her grandmother, for example, made her bridal bouquet. I’m not kidding! When I found this out during the session, I was floored. Morgan told me that her talented grandmother not only made this bouquet but did the flowers for a Golden Girls funeral. That’s big time! I love how this bouquet matched the vibe of Morgan’s wedding gown.
So, it’s January… not the most popular time to photograph B+W Bridal Portraits, but I wouldn’t change anything about this session. While it was a little chilly, I would prefer that to a super hot day where we would have to battle sweat and humidity. Honestly, I think the weather was perfect. So brides, if you’re considering bridal portraits but are getting married this Spring, you definitely should!
Talk to you soon,
Dale
