Ellie chose the coolest spot for her Harry Potter Themed Senior Pictures. Did you know that there is a castle in Central Park? Ellie did! Belvedere castle sits in the middle of Central Park in NYC, and Ellie chose it as the perfect place to shoot her Slytherin / Harry Potter themed senior pictures

It’s pretty fitting that Ellie would have Harry Potter themed senior pictures. Do you remember her 5th birthday party that was a Harry Potter themed birthday party? Click that link for a big blast from the past.

Ellie’s style is a little different than mine. While we both have similar composition styles, she likes her images underexposed and I prefer a more bright look. I’ve placed a before/after photo example below of her vision versus my style… which do you like better? I actually like her idea for a Slytherin-inspired photo shoot. The content should dictate the edit, in this case.

Peep the slytherin snake pin. It’s all about the accessories, right? Well done, Ellie! I love that we were able to incorporate something in her senior pictures that Ellie and I have bonded over since she was a little girl. We also got to see the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway when we were there. It was truly a magical weekend. (See what I did there?)
