The first reason to Subscribe to The Benfield Photography Blog is to get to know me! Especially if I’m your wedding photographer. If I’m not your wedding photographer, you might have less desire to get to know the person behind the camera. Though, I have to say I’m pretty fun, and I share a lot about my marriage, my girls (like this post), and my passions on here. I am fortunate enough to travel around the world, eat incredible food, and I share it all on here.

If you ARE a Benny bride, or a Benny family (what I affectionately call my clients), then there is even more reason to get to know me on the blog. Because the wedding day is so important and the way you feel is paramount, knowing your photographer is huge. Feeling comfortable around the person who will be photographing the biggest day of your life thus far is key! Don’t you agree?

The second reason to subscribe to this blog is because I share Wedding Trends and Real Weddings. If you love weddings, this is the blog for you. Or, if you are planning a wedding, this is the blog for you! I post wedding content nearly every day, and definitely a few times a week. Some of the wedding content I post is from weddings that I photograph personally. Other content revolves around wedding trends I am seeing. Some of those are good, and some are not so good. Nonetheless, there is so much happening in the world of weddings, and I am here to help share what is going on.

The 3rd reason to subscribe to The Benfield Photography Blog is that I love sharing tips and tricks. I am a helper and a teacher at heart, and I often give away both photo tips and wedding tips I’ve picked up over the last 15 years as a full-time professional photographer. You might remember some recent posts about how to take great food photos, or how to edit photos quickly. I often try to find a lesson to post from each wedding I shoot as well.
